Welcome to our Church!
Southeast Adventist Fellowship was started by the Arizona Conference of Seventh-day Adventists as a church plant in March, 2006. Believing that the east valley of Phoenix will face tremendous growth in the next few years, this congregation was started to meet the needs of the area.
In March 2006, Southeast Adventist Fellowship, known as SAFE, held its first Sabbath services under the direction of Elder Bill McVay. The congregation members hold church membership in the Arizona Conference Church until SAFE is organized into an official congregation. SAFE was organized into company status on March 10, 2007, by President Duane McKey.
This group is not a branch of another local congregation, but rather a deliberate congregation started with the purpose to evangelize the east valley of Phoenix. In 2007 SAFE conducted four major evangelistic crusades with speakers including Lyle Albrecht, Richard Halversen, Dan Bentzinger and our current pastor, Scott Hakes. Kent Sharpe, local elder, has already conducted one series in 2008.
Services are held each Sabbath at 9:30 a.m. with fellowship luncheon on the 1st Sabbath. All individuals who desire to share the gospel and be of service are invited to come and join our congregation. Gilbert Christian Fellowship Church - Monday, March 3, 2008
